Auditor’s calendar 3/21 – 3/27/2016


Note:  Public schedule of Auditor’s unique or out of the ordinary events.  Check back on 3/29/2015 for updates on what events actually occurred during this time frame.

Monday, March 21st

+9:30am – Payroll completed FSLG (Federal, State, and Local Governments) Self-Assessment and stated we are in compliance.

+10am – Exchanged signed copies of HIPAA business associate agreement with outside contractor.

11am – GOOD TO GREAT discussion with direct reports.

7pm – Meeting with American Legion Post 298 Auxiliary to update membership on joint project to identify Legionnaires who might be eligible for military exemptions on property taxes.

Tuesday, March 22nd

8am – Attending Board of Supervisors meeting to hear updates on Board’s strategic plan, key performance indicators, and customer satisfaction policy.

Noon – Business lunch with deputy auditor(s).

3pm – Planning meeting with Elections Services.

+7pm – Meeting with Linn County’s American Legion commanders and Auxiliary presidents to remind them of veterans benefits, e.g., military exemptions and disability homestead credits.

Wednesday, March 23rd

10am – Attend Board of Supervisors meeting to hear/participate in discussion re increasing compensation for township officials.  + Board increased township officials’ hourly pay from $10/her to $12.50/hour.

+??? – Submitted guest column to The Gazette eventually titled, There still is time to run for county offices.

+7pm – Delivered 5K absentee ballot request forms to the Linn County Democratic Central Committee for distribution to Democratic candidates and campaigns.  Same amount of forms delivered to the Linn County Republican Central Committee earlier this month.

Thursday, March 24th

5pm – Conduct poll of Pints & Politics participants on various issues selected by The Gazette’s writers.  + Of the 57 attendees who completed the survey, 38 self-identified as Ds, 10 as Rs, 7 as NPs, 1 as Libertarian, and 1 as not registered (Czech Republic citizen).

Friday, March 25th – Good Friday

Saturday, March 26th

8:45am – City of Robins Easter Egg Hunt at East Knoll Park.
