Monday, March 28th
11am – GOOD TO GREAT discussion with direct reports. + Reviewed customer surveys used by other County departments.
+Noon – Accepted Supervisor (Chair) Rogers invitation to speak about the Auditor’s Office at the State of the County luncheon on 4/20.
+3pm – Prepared Gallup Q12 survey to be distributed to the employees of the Auditor’s Office.
Tuesday, March 29th
+Noon – Notified the cities of Linn County that the Board planned to Discuss and decide on fees for dispatch services for Linn County communities, which was later clarified by Supervisor Harris as only applying to Mount Vernon, Lisbon, Robins, and Hiawatha.
+3pm – In-person Thank You to Ms. Teresa Chally – Office Manager for the Linn County Assessor’s Office – for quickly reviewing a list of Legionnaires who may be eligible to receive military exemptions and for proactively contacting the veterans to encourage them to apply for the exemption if they are eligible.
Wednesday, March 30th
+10:30am – Attended Board of Supervisors meeting and commented on Discuss & decide on fees for Sheriff’s Office dispatch services for the cities of Hiawatha, Robins, Mount Vernon, and Lisbon – click here for video.
11am – Multiple department discussion on recodification of County Codes.
1pm – Participate in webinar on Predictive Analytics
5pm – Deadline for candidates to file to run for positions on the June primary election ballot.
TBD – Office Hours prior to Hiawatha City Council meeting.
Thursday, March 31st
+10am – Linn County Weekly Support Review teleconference with Thomson Reuters re Aumentum.
Friday, April 1st
5pm – Deadline to file for FY17 Agland and Family Farm claims.
Saturday, March 26th
+11pm – Responded to Bleeding Heartland blog reporter seeking comment on Griffin v Pate before the Iowa Supreme Court.
