Election Night Results Reporting – Linn County

Deputy Tim Box provided a link (see below) for the news media to view tonight’s results. You can use it, too!

Please provide us with your feedback as we think this new website is a drastic improvement over the old website. -Joel D. Miller – Linn County Auditor

Results Reporting – New Website

In addition to new voting equipment and software being used by Linn County for the first time this election, we also have a new website for viewing election results online.   Unofficial results will be posted to the site in approximately 15 minute intervals starting when the polls close at 9:00 PM.  Absentee results will be posted first.  We expect the majority of the precincts to be reported between 9:30 and 10:00.  We anticipate that all precincts will be reported by 10:15.  A text box near the top of the results page will indicate the number of precincts that have reported ( ## of 87 Precincts Reporting).  We have 86 polling places plus the absentee precinct to make 87 reporting precincts.  You may view the results here.
